A photographer's tragedy Do you know why good photographs of Batillipes tardigrades are so scarce in the internet? The answer is quite simple: they are difficult to find, difficult to catch, difficult to prepare and they never keep still. In fact one could come to the conclusion that they are impersonated nervosity: |
Batillipes tardigrade in one of those lucky moments of almost-no-movement. Note the extended leg on the bottom left seeking for new activity. |
At least you will be able to note the main characteristics here ... |
The head almost crisp - but the the rest hidden in dynamics. |
Hind body still - rest engaged in routine activity. |
A kind of break? - a second in the globular state. |
A ghost? |
In this case it might be difficult to figure out the object. It has apparently two moving centers. But, of course, it is once again our vividly moving Batillipes tardigrade. |
